Welcome to Pro Series Note PadC
The Pro Series Note Pad has the ability to store and save both text and graphics,
as see here. You also can specify the type of information being saved as either
FAX, Letter, Note, Memo or Picture.
If you wiB
sh to retrieve a name from the Pro Series Phone Directory
database and automatically have it entered into the Topic field of
the Pro Series Note Pad database, then use the Lookup Phone
Directory ID field. Thi
s is accomplished by typing any ID
number found from within the Pro Series Phone Directory
database application.
NOTE...
You have seen that the Note Pad can store pictures as well as text.
However you can D
not directly select the Picture field itself . The
reason is that the Picture field is located behind or in back of the
text field. You will have to access the Picture field by using the Tab key.
Once the Pi
cture field is selected you can use the normal cut and paste functions
found under the Edit pull-down menu.
An image that can be copied or cut from a paint program, PICT, EPSF, or TIFF sources and pasted intoF
a layout or picture field. In the Pro Series Note Pad application the Picture field always has a right alignment and the picture is crop within the frame.
Also note that you will have to use the return key to
keep the text from over lapping the picture. Hopefully the design team at Claris will come up with a word processor field that will allow us to combine both text and graphics, like in MacWrite!
